Jesika and Luke’s autumn wedding was at the beautiful Wasing Park wedding venue set in the 18th century parkland of Wasing Estate, near Aldermaston in Berkshire. It is my second Wasing Park Wedding and it is one of my favourite wedding venues in the area. Jesika and Luke had a civil ceremony in the Garden Room but couples also have the option of choosing a church ceremony in the beautiful church on site.
I met up with Jesika and her bridesmaids getting ready in the stunning bridal suite in the Stables Lodge at Wasing. It is a beautiful room, with an enormous bed, and I always enjoy photographing wedding details and standing back on the sidelines and just capturing the bride getting ready with her family and friends. Jesika’s hair and make up were by Lucy Beesley Bridal and Katie Burt Make Up. Her wedding bouquet of white roses was supplied by Witney florist, Classic Flowers.
It was a sunny, but very cold November day with blue skies and colourful foliage around the grounds and I captured some documentary style images of the bride with her family walking to the Garden Room for the ceremony.
Jesika and Luke’s daughter, Grace stole everyone’s hearts as she led the Bride down the aisle towards Luke. The Garden Room is a beautiful room bathed in natural light and was elegantly dressed for the wedding.
The grounds at Wasing Park are perfect for wedding photography and have to be one of the attractions of this beautiful wedding venue. With dusk setting we did some couple photographs in the Victorian Summerhouse with it’s hand painted interior of flowers, cherry trees, birds and butterflies and headed back indoors to the warmth of the Garden Room and the beautifully decorated Castle Barn for the remaining couple shots.
