Last October, I was delighted to be asked to photograph and collaborate with a brilliant group of wedding creatives to put together an Old World Glamour styled wedding photo shoot at Weston Manor Country House Hotel near Oxford.
We could not have done this without the hard work of Alexandra from Alexandra Rose Weddings who has fantastic creative vision and works so hard to bring it all together and carefully select high quality local suppliers to bring the theme to life. To be honest, I was in my element working with all the pretty details brought together for the shoot and coming up with creative ideas to showcase the venue and the work and products of the other suppliers.
Alexandra took inspiration from the historic Manor House setting to create the look, with a colour theme of cranberry, golds and dusty blue creating a perfect balance between old world glamour and timeless elegance.
The Manor Country House Hotel is a quintessentially English wedding venue with lots of nooks and crannies throughout the hotel and grounds for a photographer to work with. We had two beautiful wedding gowns by Jesus Peiro and Susan Neville supplied by Ellie Sanderson bridal boutique. If I was getting married again, I think Jesus Peiro would be my designer of choice, so elegant, simple lines and extremely glamorous.
Hair and Make up was supplied by the talented Maxine Wilson. Maxine created two elegant and beautiful hair styles to suit each of the bridal gowns and with our Old World Glamour theme.
Other suppliers involved in this vintage styled shoot include
Glasswear and table settings Classic Crockery
Textiles and ribbons Silk and Purl
Stationery Mango Tree London
Flowers Alexandra Rose Weddings
Model Jamie Leigh Hewett
